Design Refinement

Copyright and Permissions
- Ownership Transfer: Upon completion of the project and after all agreed-upon payments are made, Top Click Joe transfers the copyright of the finalized designs to the client. This means you own the exclusive rights to use, distribute, and modify the designs as you see fit.
- Documentation: A formal copyright transfer agreement is provided, which clearly outlines the rights being transferred to the client. This document is crucial as it legally verifies your ownership of the designs.
- Usage Rights of Preliminary Designs: It’s essential to note that any preliminary designs or drafts not chosen in the final design phase remain the property of Top Click Joe unless otherwise negotiated.
- Rights Reserved: Top Click Joe reserves the right to use any designs, even the finalized ones, in its portfolio or for promotional purposes. This is standard practice in the industry, allowing design agencies to showcase their work. However, if a client has confidentiality concerns or other reasons for exclusivity, this can be discussed and negotiated.
- Client Responsibilities: Once the copyright is transferred, it’s the client’s responsibility to register the design/logo with the relevant copyright offices if they wish for additional legal protection. While the transfer grants you ownership, formal registration provides added legal clout against potential infringers.
Prototyping (For Website Designs)
- Interactive Models: We develop a clickable prototype of the website to get a feel for the user experience.

Feedback and Revisions
